Trip To Mission San Luis Rey de Francía

Today I went to the San Luis Rey de Francía Mission. The mission is called the king of the missions. I went with my friend Amy, her mom, and my parents and grandma.

Mission San Luis Rey de Francía was more fun than a barrel of monkeys! At the mission we went to a garden and it had the world’s oldest pepper tree and a statue of Jesus carrying the cross while being whipped. In the front of the mission there was a big fountain too. Also, at the entrance to the worship hall there was a sign that read “Holy Doors” and there was a greeting letter in the mission.

Inside the mission museum, there was a huge pot to store grains in but I put my head in there instead. Overall, the trip to the King of the Missions was great!
